Small Business Recovery Grant

To help eligible business owners offset the impacts of COVID-19. $300 may be claimed as part of the grant for supplementary work provided by additional accounting or bookkeeping staff required to assist with the preparation of an application, provided they can demonstrate evidence of additional costs incurred.
A non-repayable grant of up to $10,000.

Eligible organizations include:

Restaurants (excluding quick-service restaurants with drive-thru options), Caterers & Drinking Establishments • Fitness Facilities • Barbers, Salons, or Spas • Tattoo Parlours • Bingo Halls • Cinemas or Arcades • Event and Live Performance Centres (occupancy limit of 51 or more) per pre-pandemic fire regulations) • Tourism Operators – Defined as businesses in one of the following categories: Accommodations, Outdoor Adventure Businesses, Festivals and Events, Tourism Recreational Facilities, Receptive Tour Operators and Outfitter Services. • Retail Operators • Non-profits

Self Employed Lockdown Fund

For those businesses that do not have employees but had to cloae under the COVID-19 Winter Plan.
A one time grant of $2000

Eligibility:

  • must be a permanent New Brunswick based business or organization
  • physically operating in New Brunswick
  • been actively operating before the closure
  • possess an active and valid CRA Business Number
  • be in good standing with the Corporate Registry of New Brunswick
  • provide evidence of annual gross income of more than $30 000
