Hardest Hit Business Recovery Program (HHBRP)

Eligible organizations may be eligible for wage and/or rent subsidies under the Hardest Hit Business Recovery Program
50% drop in revenue equates to a 10% subsidy which can increase to as much as a 50% subsidy with a revenue drop of 75% or more”

Eligibility includes:

  • businesses, charities and non-profits
  • a revenue drop average of 50% over a 12 month period from March 2020 to February 2021 AND within a claim period
  • if you do not qualify for the Tourism and Hospitality Recovery Program (THRP)

Tourism & Hospitality Recovery Program (THRP)

  • Application Type: Business, Charitable Organization, Not For Profit
  • Jurisdiction: Federal
  • Program Type: Grant, Rent, Wage Subsidy
  • at
The Tourism and Hospitality Recovery Program provides aid to the tourism and hospitality sectors via wage and rent subsidies.
Up to 75% rent and wage subsidy.

The THRP is available to:

  • businesses
  • charities
  • non-profits

Eligibility:

  • more than 50% of revenue is generated through the tourism, hospitality, recreation or entertainment sector
  • affected by a qualifying public health restriction
  • an average revenue drop of 40% or more from March 2020 to February 2021
  • a claim period revenue drop of at least 40%
