GOING FOR THE GOLD IN A MEGA GRANT BID
Laurentian University
CHALLENGE:
Our client wanted to apply for a multi-year, multi-million dollar grant that involved a 2-tier process (Letter of Intent and Full Application stages); and putting together a network of 12 academic institutions, 6 government agencies, and 16 industry partners in 8 countries. All this, while still getting their regular work done!
SOLUTION:
Our team provided start-to-finish grant proposal development at both Letter of Intent and Full Application stages, as well as assistance to prepare for an in-person pitch to the funder. Services included project management of the team and the content, full application writing, and international partnership development.
RESULT:
Successful funding of a $104 million, 7-year applied research project that has:
- fuelled economic development through job creation,
- increased productivity among the partners,
- generated research findings that place Canada on the world stage, and
- catapulted our client to a #1 standing amongst peer research institutions

CHALLENGE:
Our client had pages and pages of information and statistics about past successes and the future potential benefits of their services. They needed a way to package and present these facts without overwhelming their readers.
SOLUTION:

Our client has combined her love of selling original jewellery, with her passion to support organizations that rescue victims of human trafficking. She wanted to increase her sales revenue for two reasons – to support her fundraising efforts, and to raise social awareness. For that, she needed a plan.
SOLUTION:
