Carolina brings over 20 years of practical experience in community and global health development to her project management and senior advisory services, and has worked with numerous Canadian and international health and humanitarian organizations. She  understands the value of evidence-based, data-derived grant proposals, and further strengthens applications through her tenacity for finding solutions.

Fluent in English and Portuguese, and functional in French, Carolina communicates clearly and effectively. She offers strategic advice and valuable assistance for federal and provincial government grants processes, and in the development of stakeholder relations.

Carolina has an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Nutrition, with a major in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto, and Project Management Professional certification, with a focus on International Development.

Past Vice President of True North Aid Board, a national charity dedicated to serving and supporting northern First Nations communities through practical humanitarian support, Carolina is passionate about co-creating programs and services that are meaningful for community members. As a business mentor for Indigenous youth leadership and senior advisor to Indigenous communities, including Pikangikum First Nation’s Health Authority, she is honoured to provide support for their goals.
